Why I started CMB Stays

My background is in finance, and my work with multinational companies means frequent business travel. I also love visiting other countries to experience their culture and food. My travels have led me to different parts of the world such as the US, the UK, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, the Middle East, Singapore, Thailand, and Australia, and I have spent a lot of nights in hotel rooms. 

Hotels are convenient. But on any trip longer than a night or two, I kept meeting the same problems: nowhere to sit but the bed, internet that dropped mid-call, and no way to make a simple meal on my own schedule.

So I set up the kind of place I look for when I travel. Somewhere with room to relax, a proper table to work at, a kitchen you can cook in and Wi-Fi you can rely on. Somewhere simpler and better value than a hotel.
